RPA Subjects - Analysis of net primary expenditure dynamics and budget indicators of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces

The study aims to provide a comparative overview of the expenditure dynamics of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces, based on the integration of the databases available within the RPA System, in particular: financial statement data, certain budget indicators provided for under Legislative Decree 118/2011, economic and patrimonial accounts, and selected experimental economic and patrimonial indicators.

RPA Sectors - Health - RPA data on public expenditure 2000-2020 - Regional Focus

The essays collected in this volume are all dedicated to the health sector, analyzed within the RPA framework from different analytical perspectives. The first chapter traces the evolution of public health expenditure at the national level, as recorded in the historical time series of the RPA System, highlighting the main expenditure components and providing a territorial focus. The second chapter emphasizes the functional relationship between key economic variables, such as public and private health expenditure and public health capital, and a series of indicators representing regional healthcare provision, activity levels, and performance. The third chapter collects contributions from individual Regional Units of the RPA System that promoted the Joint Research Project on Health (Campania, Molise, Tuscany, and Umbria).

RPA Research - Qualitative and quantitative survey on the implementation dynamics of territorial cohesion policies

The aim of the survey is to give a voice to the Managing Authorities of Operational Programmes and the Authorities responsible for the Development and Cohesion Plan, in order to understand the critical points in the implementation and management process of programming instruments in all their components: planning, organization, control, monitoring, and evaluation. The research is the result of a collaboration between the RPA System and Sapienza University of Rome.

RPA Sectors - RPA data on sectoral public expenditure 2000-2020

The publication consists of 25 chapters - divided into two volumes - each corresponding to a specific RPA sector under analysis. In some cases, additional in-depth content is included, often developed in collaboration with other institutions, such as contextual analyses and focused studies.

This publication focuses on the use of information by politicians in Italian regions as support for decision-making processes and the execution of their responsibilities. The research is the result of a collaboration between the Regional Public Accounts (RPA) System and the Department of Economics and Business at University of Cagliari.

RPA Themes - The contribution of territorial cohesion funds to sectoral public policies

This publication brings together, in a single editorial volume, all analyses produced by the RPA System on the contribution of territorial cohesion policies in relation to the total expenditure recorded by the RPA. With reference to the sectors of "Road Infrastructure", "Transport", "Education", and "Vocational Training", the analyses were extracted from sectoral publications produced in 2020-2021.
